Overview

A Logo, Branding Identity and Packaging for IdealBed Mattresses and Adjustable Bases a third-party partner to the organization I was with. This project spanned over the year 2017 into 2018 with 7 other sub-brands, 4 are on the main portfolio page besides this one.

Purpose

Design with clients only request in mind for this brand, to use a pink and blue color, otherwise the style was open. 

My role 

Concept and design brand identity, logo and the packaging.

Process

The goal was to make it similar to other bedding brands like iComfort, Serta and more. I started by choosing a few different styles to portray the logo that was inspired by the research I did. From there they chose option 2. I made a few adjustments to the size of the ‘I’, the element under and the coloring.  

The Unpacking Insert and Card were created to go inside the mattress or adjustable base box. I wrote the content and created the layout for the card. There is a sticker for the rolled mattresses not in a box to identify it. The packaging boxes are for the mattress and the adjustable base. The base box die cut, I created for this style of base size. I took the measurements of the product in shipping form and created the die-cut so our product would not end up with distortion on the information and graphics.
